DAY 2 IN KRISTIANSAND
My alarm was set on 10 and 10.30am, but for some reason I didn’t wake up until 12pm and I saw SNOW! WTF! I didn’t mean to bring the snow to Kr.sand from Oslo, nono! It’s so weird, cause we had like super sunny sun the day before and now it’s just wet, snow and rain. Luckily for us, it rained the whole day, so the snow disappeared pretty fast. But it rained ALL DAY LONG. Annoying!
Lene and I couldn’t just sit home because of some rain. (A lot of rain, felt like I was in Bergen..) So we went out to a place called Sørensen, they had bubble-brunch and since we ate before we got there, we ordered just one bottle of prosecco. It’s so cheap. The brunch is from 1pm to 5pm, so be quick! Every Saturday :)
When we arrived, like went inside, the «Hollywood»wives stared at us, like from down and up. Wow, and I couldn’t help it, so I tried to smile to them, but I didn’t get any smile back. They had like expensive purses and big fur jackets. One of them were so drunk that she almost had to spell her name when she greeted someone new. «HI, I A M H A A N N E E E!» She went out and came back in and stumbled over the desk with menus. How embarrassing. She asked the waiter if she could order 5 more bottles and time was only 4.30pm. I think they gave her 2 more bottles, but if I was her waitress, I would have said no and asked her to leave, cause that’s so bad to watch.
So we paid our bill and left, cause the wives got so intense, they probably had like a contest about who could laugh highest. We went to a gastropub called Kick, with lots of different beers. It’s super cozy, even though it’s just us and a couple of elderly people with silver hair and hip problems.
We, or Lene, ordered a plank(?) with beer, the 3 first ones was good ones, but the 3 last ones, not so good, haha, but that’s just because I’m a picky twat. We also had two ciders and coffee before we went home to take a break and relax. Needed a break from alcohol and that stupid rain.
We had a great bartender at Kick, so if you are going there in the future and get him as a bartender, I ENSURE YOU that you’ll get excellent service. I didn’t catch his name though.
After the long break, 2 hours, we got out again and headed off to the indian restaurant. I think I got the wrong dish, but I didn’t bother to complain, cause it’s sooo good. After a while, Alex joined us for a couple of beers. And we went to another place called Patricks, and again, it’s so many people over 40+++, but then again, the time was only like 11pm. We weren’t out that long, cause I was in bed by 12.08am. Haha. I’m glad nobody were gonna share bed with me, I’d probably gas them to death. YES WITH MY FARTS. Indian food farts.
